It's Finally Here!

After planning for what seems like a very long time, we are leaving for China tomorrow morning! Steph is picking us up at 7 a.m. and taking us to the airport. We fly from here to Minneapolis, then on to Tokyo and finally Guangzhou. We looked at the flight map and it appears we will be flying over Mt. McKinley. We are really hoping to get a good look at it, as it should still be daylight as we fly over Alaska. We will be traveling for about 26 hours and arrive in Guangzhou at 11 p.m. Monday night. Last week John had lunch at a Chinese restaurant--this was his fortune--"Your eyes will soon be opened to a world full of beauty, charm and adventure." Our Friday night pistol league goes out for dinner after the competition is over and last night they wanted to go out for, you guessed it, Chinese. This was my fortune--"Don't be afraid to take a chance when the opportunity of a lifetime appears." Next post will be from China!
